ORLANDO, Fla.,Oct. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Gartner Symposium ITxpo 2010 --Luidia, Inc., a global interactive technology and solutions provider, today announced a new line of interactive and digital capture products that enable organizations to better communicate and collaborate visually while digitally capturing, sharing and archiving valuable ideas from brainstorming sessions, presentations and more.

The new Luidia eBeam Suite gives business and organizational users the ability to turn any flat surface--including whiteboards, walls and windows--into interactive workspaces to collaborate and communicate better anywhere, anytime. Users can now leverage the power of Luidia eBeam Edge products to dynamically transform, capture, create and deliver digital whiteboard or interactive content.
Luidia's patented technology makes it easy for users to present, annotate and interact with projected content, while capturing the results, which can be shared over the Internet, delivering real-time interactivity and collaboration for all viewers and participants.
Increased Demand for Interactive Collaboration Across Organizations
To date, business and organizational collaboration and conferencing solutions have lacked one necessary element -- the ability to interactively share physical data on presentations, such as PowerPoint documents, illustrations and diagrams both directly and with remote participants.
Now, Luidia allows meeting participants to share, stream and interact with whiteboard data including drawings, brainstorming notes and more. No longer will businesses wonder, "Did that great idea just walk out the door?" or, "What happened to the great idea we had on the white board? Did someone erase it?"
Enterprise and growing businesses and government departments can reduce the time and costs associated with traveling for meetings, as well as lost IP, by creating, capturing and sharing digital content and delivering it in an engaging way.
-- eBeam Edge is designed for the mobile workforce. Whether it's used as a
collaboration tool to connect different branches or used as an
interactive presentation device for clients worldwide, the eBeam Edge is
portable, yet scalable to meet various enterprise needs. The eBeam Edge
receiver mounts on walls, whiteboards and flat surfaces and weighs less
than five ounces. Users can mark up anything projected from a computer
and bring presentations, documents and web pages to life and digitally
capture handwritten notes and easily distribute or pull them up again
later. A free meeting sharing feature promotes efficiency and increases
understanding as live manipulation of projected content is broadcast,
saved and sent after a meeting to reinforce concepts. It works with a
USB cable or Bluetooth to connect to any Windows computer with a
projector.
-- eBeam Edge Whiteboard redefines the ubiquitous whiteboard--something
almost every office has and something almost every professional uses
each day--to promote efficiency and reinforce concepts. Everything
written in marker on a whiteboard can be saved, shared with global
colleagues and also altered after a meeting. The system uses an eBeam
Edge receiver and marker sleeves that fit over dry erase markers.
-- eBeam Edge Complete combines an eBeam Edge, an interactive stylus and
marker sleeves to enable both marker based and interactive capture,
ensuring no ideas are ever lost. Content devised with markers on eBeam
Edge Whiteboard can be integrated with the interactive content that is
being projected in order to promote cross-organization idea sharing.
"Visual communication is essential for business development. Some of the greatest business ideas often start on a whiteboard. All too often, meeting participants are distracted by cell phones and laptops," said Rafi Holtzman, CEO of Luidia. "With eBeam Edge, business idea sharing and audience engagement is increased. Now, PowerPoint presentations, diagrams and other content can be interactively altered live. Not only can notes be taken, but images can be transformed and audience questions can be addressed with live drawings. With eBeam solutions, ideas are also digitized, archived, shared with colleagues and developed further."
