I was browsing around and caught this:

Well, there is a lot of controversy right now with the UT2003 demo and videos that have been leaked. If anyone has the original zip file with the demo, contact me as soon as possible. One day, the links were everywhere and the next, they've vanished off the net. The original link I found to the demo was over here, it looks like the article was edited though, the whole content pertaining to the demo is erased. Go figure.[PAGEBREAK]
I have talked to a couple people on EfNet who continue to rave about how great the demo (beta?) is. Personally, the zip I got crashed my system not even 5 seconds into the game. However, the installer and file dates all seemed to be legit. The zip's filesize was around 150MB. I don't think there is more than one version of the demo floating around, so it looks like some people are having luck with the one that was found. The demo was apparently also not designed for the public, it was supposed to be a corporate version. (?? meaning, for beta testers? internal? i'm not sure... but these guys have the CoOp version)

What is interesting is that the links to the demo's were posted on dedicated UT2003 sites, but nothing is in the archives of ISONews.com of anything being released (???). The demo was also not packed with any .nfo file. I do know that the file is really out there, because I downloaded it... and after crashing my system, erased it. I figured I'd wait until the official demo came out in a month, and when I'd have time to upgrade. Also assuming that the links would be all over the place, so I would be able to provide something for you guys. Gimmie time, as soon as I get my hands on a link, it's going public. And there were links all over the place for a hot second, now we just need to refind them and offer a link. There are also screenshots from the demo all over the place.

To the source luke!
