Donor Network Alliance Grows to 5,000 Egg Donor Profiles

CHICAGO, March 2 -- With three of the largest egg donor recruitment agencies in the U.S. having joined as members, the Donor Network Alliance (DNA) has reached the 5,000 mark in the number of registered donors in this national donor database.

DNA (http://www.donornetworkalliance.com) is an unprecedented affiliation of leading U.S. egg donor agencies who have consolidated their egg donor profiles in a single Web site, making the egg donor search easier for intended parents, and giving agencies greater exposure to a larger number of prospective clients.

The most recent new members are California agencies Egg Donation Inc., Woodland Hills, and The Donor Source, Irvine. They join Extraordinary Conceptions, San Diego, as the three largest agencies to join DNA to date.

"We are excited at the way we are steadily growing. It confirms that the community is ready for a more effective and efficient way to discover prospective egg donors," said Nancy Block of The Center for Egg Options (http://www.egg411.com), one of the three Chicago-area agencies that owns DNA and helps populate the site. The other two owners include Robin von Halle of Alternative Reproductive Resources (http://www.arr1.com) and Nazca Fontes of ConceiveAbilities (http://www.conceiveabilities.com).

Other agencies that comprise DNA's membership base include:
--  Bundles of Joy LLC, Hollywood, Fla.
  --  Circle Surrogacy Ltd, Boston.
--  Conceptual Options, Los Angeles and San Diego.
