FunMail a Hit at SXSW!
New Visual Messaging Service tickles the fancy of Austin's Tweeters and Texters alike.
PLEASANTON, Calif., March 22 -- Every year Austin, Texas turns into a melting pot of people and technology for a week in March as SXSW comes to town. With over 100 businesses on display at the interactive tradeshow, there are only a few products that standout and steal the show. This year, FunMail was one of them.
FunMail is already a hit application on the iPhone that turns any text message into an MMS, and last week FunMobility unveiled FunTweet at the SXSW show, available to the public at http://www.funtweet.it.
"FunTweet.it brings Twitter into a new visual dimension by making it possible to instantly add fun, relevant visuals to tweets from FunMail's huge visual database. Funtweet.it also turns anybody into a Twitter mash-up artist, giving people the power to visualize any tweet and then re-tweet it or share via Facebook," FunMobility CEO Adam Lavine told ABCNews.com.
FunMail caught the eye of many news organizations large and small with the Media Brain that instantly picks from a library of over 25,000 images to give users a relevant image to any text message or Tweet.
With releases planned in the next two months that will make the application available for both the Palm Pre and Blackberry, FunMail is sure to be in the news and on your phones.
