PrInSys Lab Announces List of Participants for Production Scheduling Seminar
GHENT, Belgium, October 28, 2010/PRNewswire/ -- PrInSys Lab has revealed the preliminary list of speakers and
participants for Production Scheduling Seminar 2010. Focused on the most
topical issues in production planning and optimization, the event will take
place on November 18, 2010 in University College Ghent, Belgium. Registration
for the seminar is still open.
The event will address the ways to facilitate and enhance production
scheduling, with talks and presentations delivered by speakers from all over
the world. It has been announced that:
- Keiji Fujii, CEO of Asprova AG, Germany, will talk about
high level of lean manufacturing and the requirement for APS
- Arjo Oldenbeuving, Sales Manager of Evologics NL presents
the advanced planning system Preactor APS
- Tony Wauters (KaHo Sint-Lieven) and Paul Verstraete
(MESWare) will focus on adaptive scheduling in the food processing
industry
- Dr. ir. Paul Valckenaers of Katholieke Universiteit Leuven
willdiscuss schedule execution and scalability
- Bas van de Kerkhof of Care OES will give a presentation
onscheduling and the ISA-95 standardProfessor Victor Gorelik of
Dorodnicyn Computing Center of Russian Academy of Sciences will address
the subject of multiobjective scheduling, and tell about solving the
inconsistency of MILP scheduling problems
Production Scheduling Seminar 2010 will bring together participants from
industry, software vendors, and academia. Some higher educational
institutions have already confirmed their participation, including Computing
Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, University College of
West-Flanders, University College of Antwerp, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven
and KaHo Sint-Lieven. Among the companies attending the seminar will be
Siemens, IBM (Ilog), MESWare, Wonderware, Rockwell Automation, DeClercq
Solutions, OM Partners, Intelligen Inc., Puratos & Belcolade.
