Well, we finally have some new content after a few months. Work on the XHTML theme (next gen) is nearly completed with a deadline of May 1st still going strong. Make sure you read my article on DRM and Fair Use: »http://www.aselabs.com/articles.php?id=190 Consumers must stand up for their rights!

Nvidia Geforce 7900 Quad SLI @ MVKTech.

Quote

NVIDIA has taken advantage of their leading position when it comes to multi-GPU technology, which they have introduced quite successfully some years ago. This technology was launched as SLI, Scalable Link Interface to bundle the performance of two graphics cards. SLI is a high-performance technology that intelligently combines and scales graphics performance and visual quality by having multiple NVIDIA GPU's in a single system. NVIDIA has puched once again the limits and instead of running two video cards together in SLI mode, they can now run four graphics processors in SLI mode, known as Quad SLI.

Powercolor X1600XT @ PCStats.

Quote

The powerfull little Radeon X1600 XT VPU is built on TSMC's 90 nm manufacturing process, and contains 157 million transistors, slim by today's standards. The Radeon X1600 XT core has a total of 12 pixel pipelines and 5 vertex pipelines to keep the triangles flowing along smoothly. At stock settings, we're looking at a videocard core which runs along at about 587 MHz, with 256MB of GDDR3 memory clocked at 1.3GHz (effective: 693 MHz).

CPU:
Intel Pentium D 805 overclocking.

Quote

Legit Reviews was able to go out and purchase the Intel Pentium D Processor 805, a $130 processor, and overclock it to run with the best that Intel has to offer. In terms of overclocking this processor couldn't be any easier to overclock. With no voltage increase required to run 3.8GHz, all that needs really needs to be adjusted is the memory divider and the Front Side Bus (FSB).

AMD Athlon FX60 @ AMDBoard.

Quote

What happens if the fastest core speed is combined with the most advanced technology - in this case featuring dual cores? For single threaded applications, the obvious answer is nothing much but fortunately, it appears that we are finally getting away from DOS and migrating towards a world dominated by massive multitasking. Dual cores, even more than single cores, have a sheer insatiable hunger for data which increases with any additional speedstep. Using the HyperTransport interface grants the AMD design a substantial advantage over Intel's front side bus with its bidirectional data bus. All of this combined with refined silicon mixtures to further lower the power consumption of the CPU promise the makings of another champion: Enter the AMD Athlon FX-60.

RAM:
Super Talent PC2-6400 @ Techgage.

Quote

Most people have not even heard of Super Talent, but they are not new to the memory market. They are however new to the enthusiast side of things. It looks like they know what they are doing, because these modules are FAST. Let's take a deep look and see just how impressive they are.

OCZ PC2-8000 XTC @ Hexus.

Quote

If your system can effectively utilise 1GHz-rated DDR2, and it's a big if, OCZ's 2GByte pack should be at the top of your shortlist. Summing it up in a word is easy enough. That word is extreme.

Motherboard:
Foxconn WinFast NF4SK8AA-8EKRS @ Legit Reviews.

Quote

The WinFast NF4SK8AA-8EKRS motherboard was really easy to work with and posed no problems with anything that we threw at it. The NF4SK8AA-8EKRS also did very well for itself in the area of overclocking. Being able to run my Opteron 146 at 2.9ghz+ was pretty impressive on this sub-$100 board.

Albatron KM51G-754 @ Thinkcomputers.

Quote

Is the Socket 754 dead? I don't think so! I believe it is alive and well and still being supported by many manufacturers. One of those manufacturers is Albatron, in January of this year they released a few new socket 754 boards, in this review I will be taking a look at one of them that is based on the NF4 chipset with built in NVIDIA Geforce 6100 graphics engine. The KM51G is a Micro-ATX form factor with lots of great features built into it. I've found that it is a great all around board, and not a bad overclocker either. Let's check it out...
