LG Mobile Phones Showcases Its Latest Products and Initiatives at CTIA Wireless 2010
Interactive Booth Elements Invite Attendees to Rethink Texting While Driving, Encourage Participants to 'Recycle 4 Change'
LAS VEGAS, March 23 -- LG Electronics MobileComm U.S.A., Inc. (LG Mobile Phones), a leading global mobile communication and information company, will feature an impressive display of the latest advancements in mobile phone technology, advanced music and TV capability, and eco-product design at CTIA Wireless 2010 (Booth #1000). In addition to showcasing the company's latest wireless devices, the LG booth will feature interactive displays that will engage and inform tradeshow attendees on a variety of topics and technologies.

In February 2010, LG launched its Text Ed initiative, which includes an advisory council of experts who will provide parents with information on a range of topics--from sexting to phone etiquette to driving while texting--via a new website: http://www.LGTextEd.com. In fact, attendees can even test drive the "LG Don't Text & Drive" simulator, which allows users to experience the dangers of driving and texting, but in a safe and controlled setting.
LG ecoMobilization
LG will showcase its eco-friendly initiatives as part of its LG ecoMobilization program, which offers easy-to-use tools such as a zero-waste mobile phone recycling program and TXT 2 Recycle(TM). Participants simply text the word ECO to 95173, and reply to the text with their mailing address, and pre-paid packaging will be delivered to their doorstep. Adding an element of fun into caring for the environment, CTIA attendees can put their knowledge of eCycling to the test with the LG eco game, Recycle 4 Change. Playing on large touchscreen LG LCD screens, consumers will have the chance to learn about what components are in a phone and how they are sorted to be recycled. Users will be prompted to donate the points they've earned to one of three philanthropic causes: Save the Music Foundation, The Environmental Defense Fund or they can give back to the ecoMobilization program. Through Recycle 4 Change, LG plans to donate a total of $10,000 on behalf of consumers that have participated during CTIA 2010.
