Phoenix Company Launches iPhone App to Satisfy Hungry Diners

YWaiter Combines Technology and Ease to Give Foodies a Convenient Dining Experience

PHOENIX, May 17 -- Phoenix-based technology firm Mobile Bytes L.L.C. (http://www.ywaiter.com) announced the launch of their revolutionary mobile application YWaiter, an iPhone app designed to save restaurant goers money and time when dining out. The free app, now available in the iTunes App Store, allows time-strapped diners to place take-out or dine-in orders directly from their phone, bypassing lengthy wait times and cumbersome phone orders. The app even includes exclusive discounts available to diners who place orders through YWaiter, enabling them to save time as well as money.

"YWaiter is the perfect app for diners on the go, and it offers restaurant-goers a more efficient way to order food from the places you love," said co-founder Dan Calderone. "We recognize the value of connecting busy consumers with restaurants and decided to create a more accommodating avenue between the two."

Using stored credit card information, YWaiter enables users to place orders from full service menus, even offering a tip calculator so the bill is conveniently paid ahead of time. There is also a section to include specialized notes to customize orders and accommodate personal preferences. If the assistance of waiter is needed, diners simply shake their phones and YWaiter notifies staff immediately.

"The idea was born when, upon dining out for lunch on a particularly busy day, we were in a quick rush to receive the check and get cashed out. We thought there had to be a more efficient way to do this for diners in a hurry, and that's when the concept of YWaiter was created," said Calderone. He added that there are imminent plans to expand the application to other smart phones, including the Android and BlackBerry.

The opportunity for restaurants to sign up with YWaiter is absolutely free; there is also the unique opportunity to advertise on the application, reaching a large number of hungry users seeking dining options in their area.

As a means of spurring interest and fans, a reward plan is available to diners who refer their favorite restaurants to sign up for YWaiter, which includes a gift card program.

"We are truly excited to be part of an app that is going to change the way you eat out, saving restaurant goers time and money," noted Calderone. "We're really proud of what we have and are excited to share it with food lovers on the go."

YWaiter is available at the iTunes App Store, and is free to download. For additional information, visit http://www.ywaiter.com.
