Video Card Problem Sat Aug 5, 2006 4:38:54 PM#20265Perm Link
Hey guys whats the best video card (graphics card w/e it is) best basically everything but really good for gaming? ($600 MAX)
My graphics(video) card is REALLLY crappy Aaron knows what im talking about soo some help would be reallly awsome.
I do know... you need a new system. Seriously. The new thing is PCI Express. You have AGP, you can upgrade your card... but it wouldn't be worth it in the long run.
2014 is going to be a good year. More content, more streamlining. Be a part of history!

well, the system by dell usually sucks. You can get a slightly better components if you build it yourself. Alternatively, you can consider maybe buy from alienware (which is dell now), which has better parts but I think slightly more expensive. The XPS all has pentium D cpu on them (which sucks at gaming). Like I said, if you can, wait for a bit as the new intel cpu is already out, conroe aka core 2 duo. It performs great in games and everything and they should hit dell's shelves or retail soon.

Then after I purchase the computer I want to get the G Series Wireless Mouse & Keyboard
i am assuming that you don't know how to build a computer right? Because you can actually get a better system with the same amount of money. Now, if you just want to buy a prebuild system, like I said before, wait a few weeks as dell is clearing out old system and probably will have new intel cpu implemented in their new system setup. Otherwise, just get amd system as they are much better for gaming and overall performance.
