Catchy title? I thought so because it is blatantly wrong.

Comparing electrons to photons is one thing (both are the pretty damn fast). Comparing electricity to light is different. Electricity is much slower than light. Electrons gets scattered in material which causes the slowdown.

electrons don't move fast, but the move propagates quickly (in electricity). There are electrons in every material, when electricity flows they just get sucked through...
