Compelling High-Speed Ethernet Options for all Diverse Segments of the Market.
SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --In its most recent Server-Class Adapter & LAN-on-Motherboard (LOM) Long-Range Forecast Report, Crehan Research Inc. projects that the availability of multiple new data-center Ethernet speeds will lead to a much stronger server networking upgrade cycle than seen over the past decade. server networking is currently prevalent.
-- 10GbE should see its third, and biggest, adoption phase as the

Thin materials such as sheet metal and new substances such as composites are often part of the solution, but these choices present simulation challenges.
Sheet metal and plate steel are common traditional material forms used to minimize weight while delivering required structural performance. ANSYS 16.0 accelerates the process for engineers to model these thin materials and define how parts are connected in a complete assembly.

Composites are another material alternative to drastically reduce weight, but they are difficult to model because of their non-homogeneous properties and their dependence on the manufacturing process to deliver maximum performance.

This enables customers to design applications with MCUs operating as low as 2.0V, using the MOSFET driver to boost the output signals to 18V, reducing power loss in the controller and minimizing conduction loss in the power MOSFET. The threshold levels balance the need for noise immunity with the ability to function with a wider variety of controller products, including Microchip's devices. These drivers are designed for use in power supply, lighting, automotive and consumer electronics markets, including embedded power conversion, brushed DC motor, unipolar stepper motor and solenoid/relay/valve control applications, among others.
